Video: Grupo Niche puts Becky G and her boyfriend to throw salsa steps... and they have talent

For several weeks now, American singer Becky G has had important approaches with Colombia. First, she released 'Mamiii', a collaboration made with Karol G and which, according to her fans, is a hint for Anuel AA; later, she was present at the last edition of the Oscars, performing, together with Luis Fonsi, the song 'We don't talk about Bruno', which was presumed to be sung during the gala by Carolina Gaitan and Mauro Castillo.

Now, the urban artist surprised again with a 'nod' to the country, but not precisely singing alongside another Colombian, but dancing salsa to the rhythm of one of the most emblematic groups of the genre.

She was not in charge of sharing the video of the curious moment dancing salsa, but her boyfriend, soccer player Sebastian Lletget, who plays in the MLS and let it be known on his Instagram account that both he and his partner enjoy Niche's song 'Anamile'.

“Oh you didn't know we get down like that” wrote the New England Revolution flyer along with the 15-second clip that, in less than a day, has earned more than 140,000 views and nearly 1,160 comments from many friends of the couple admiring their talent for dancing to this genre.

For her part, Rebbeca Marie Gomez - the artist's first name - reposted the video in the stories section of her Instagram profile, showing her 31.4 million followers her taste for salsa and the Colombian group.

Recently, the singer of hits such as' Seniors', 'Ram pam pam', 'Mayors' and 'No Pajamas', generated all kinds of comments on other networks such as Twitter because of her surprising participation in the Oscars by singing 'No Talk About Bruno', which belongs to the soundtrack of the 'Best Animated Film' award, 'Encanto'.

To perform the iconic song from Disney's Colombian-inspired film, it was believed that only artists Carolina Gaitan and Mauro Castillo, who after the awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, referred to the interventions of both Becky G and Luis Fonsi, who after the awards ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, were cited for the gala.

The Vallecaucano mentioned, in dialogue with W Radio, that this corresponded to “an invitation to highlight the Latin (...) Latinos here are very happy because finally, for the industry, we have this tendency to be second-class citizens, I have to say”, also stating that Encanto's project has been so Colombian as an international.

In that talk, Castillo also pointed out that Lin-Manuel Miranda, director of the soundtrack of the animated film, being Puerto Rican, gave “a nod” to the Latino community with invitations to Fonsi and Becky G.

“As one poet says: 'we are all heroes in search of help' and given that we are providing opportunities from our work for all people who want to dream about this, and for Fonsi and Becky G too, regardless of whether they had never done a cha cha cha cha or whether or not they should be there,” said the actor remembered for his role in Wilson Manyoma in the soap opera 'El Joe: the legend.
