The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (Mincit) announced, on Thursday, April 7, the results of its Simple State Strategy, Colombia Ágil, with which all State entities, headed by the Presidency of the Republic, are involved, and in which the portfolio in question, the Department, are involved Civil Service Administration, the Ministry of Justice and Law, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, and the National Planning Department.
This is how the departments of Valle, Antioquia, Santander and the Coffee Region (Risaralda, Caldas and Quindio) reported having contributed more regional actions in 2022 within the framework of the aforementioned strategy.
“Mayors, Governorates and public utilities in these regions reported 100 of the 163 interventions to be processed in 17 departments, between January and February 2022. The other participating entities located in territories belong to Atlántico, Bogotá, Bolivar, Boyacá, Cauca, Cundinamarca, Guaviare, Guajira, Magdalena, Meta and Nariño,” said Mincit.
He also assured that most of the actions that have been carried out as part of the initiative will allow access to the results in less time and have additional channels for filing, contact and payment. “From August 2018 to February 2022, national and regional official entities have advanced the elimination or simplification of 3,234 procedures, the removal of 423 barriers and the repeal or improvement of 874 obsolete or high-impact standards, respectively, for a large total of 4,531 ″, detailed the portfolio.

In this way, he specified that the three departments of the Coffee Region have reported 29 new interventions in 2022. In Valle del Cauca, citizens and entrepreneurs benefited from 25 interventions to procedures that impact issues of education, transport and Sisbén with means of electronic filing or time reduction. They mainly correspond to the Government (16), as well as the mayors of Cali and La Unión, and the Public Services Company of Roldanillo.
On the other hand, six mayors of Antioquia (Amalfi, Barbosa, Envigado, San Jerónimo, Thames and Yarumal) together with the Government, reported 24 interventions in tax procedures, Sisbén, construction and health, among others, where there were new means of payment, additional channels of care and elimination of obligations.
In Santander, the 22 actions were held by the mayors of Barichara, Bucaramanga, Coromoro, Galán and Socorro, with a majority of the latter (12). To access transit procedures, certificates, public space management and authorizations for games and raffles, citizens will have emails and results in less time.
Among the other regions that reported results are the departments of the Caribbean Coast with actions of the Mayor's Office of San Juan del Cesar (Guajira), which reduced delivery times for 14 procedures; the Barranquilla Mayor's Office, which put 6 Cadastre procedures online, and the governorates of Bolívar and Magdalena, where two actions impacted tax payments.
