This is Guerra pronounces on the social crisis in Peru: “Peruvians must be more united than ever”

Johanna San Miguel and María Pia Copello reappeared in This is Guerra after not going on the air for two days due to the social crisis that Peru is experiencing. As is recalled, the transport strike on Monday, April 4, prompted the government to decide to decree a curfew in Lima and Callao.

President Pedro Castillo's measure was immediately questioned by citizens, who organized to take to the streets to march demanding his resignation from the I am responsible for bad decisions in its management.

During the march against the President of the Republic, different clashes took place between the demonstrators and the police. Likewise, in the center of Lima there were various acts of vandalism that was severely questioned by those who came out to protest peacefully.

Now, the reality show is back on the air and the first thing it did was make a statement through its hosts. They did not hesitate to point out that the country is going through a difficult time, so they asked to remain united in the face of the difficult situation.

“We haven't come out because we are aware of what is happening. Peru is going through a very difficult time but the most important thing is that Peruvians and Peruvians have to be closer than ever,” Johanna San Miguel commented at first.

The host of the reality show also specified that they are connected to the América Noticias platform if at any time they need to report any urgent measures by the government or any other disturbance in the city.

On the other hand, Johanna San Miguel pointed out that although the program she hosts is entertainment, they are willing to help families who have been affected by the social crisis.

“We are trying to see how we bring aid to more Peruvians, but as we said, it is the time when Peruvians are closer than ever,” said the television host.

For her part, María Pía Copello only managed to say that we Peruvians now have to be united and that the authorities will soon find a solution to the crisis. “We have to be united and soon the solutions will come. We have to continue working as Peruvians,” he added.

Like various companies and businesses in other areas, America had to close the Pachacamac facilities to avoid any mishap. Therefore, the coverage focused on the demonstrations that took place in different parts of the country.

“Due to security measures and given the order of immobility, Pachacamac will be closed and no live program will be broadcast,” they indicated from the Santa Beatriz channel.
