Application for Scholarship 18. The National Scholarship and Educational Credit Program (Pronabec) announced its second call for applications this year. The more than 3000 scholarships cover higher education and maintenance for all who succeed in obtaining it.

If you want to apply for this scholarship issued by the Government of Peru, we tell you that the pre-selection of students has already been made. Remember that pre-selection is the phase where interested parties have to register and they will be accepted as long as they meet the requirements requested by the entity. According to Lisbeth Bohorquez Yopan, specialist in Scholarship Management at Pronabec, in an interview with Andina Al Día, she mentioned that the pre-selection had around 15,000 to 20,000 young people in looking for a scholarship. The number of scholarships that the program gives is 5 thousand in total and they are divided into two groups (times).

In the case of the first group, it should be noted that the first list of scholarship recipients came out in March, where 1,976 young students with limited resources economic or vulnerable situations were able to obtain this financial aid from studies.

However, there are now 3,024 comprehensive scholarships left and all those who were shortlisted can apply, including those who failed to enter the first group of fellows. The shortlist was made in December 2021.

HOW TO APPLY IF I AM SHORTLISTED?

As mentioned above, those shortlisted who did not apply at the first moment, were not selected or were not eligible for the scholarship will be able to apply again at the second stage of the contest, provided that they comply with what is indicated in the rules. To do this, they will have to enter the Application for Selection Module (Sibec) again from the Pronabec page and enter the requested requirements.

The requirements are as follows:

1. Have entered a Higher Education Institution (IES), venue and program of study eligible to start studies in the academic year 2022 (have proof of admission).
