On Tuesday, April 5, the defense of Pablo Lyle, who is accused of manslaughter, requested that his bail not be renewed, that his electronic monitoring be removed and that no further payments be required. However, in the short hearing held on April 7, he was denied his petition.

On Thursday morning, a new hearing was held in the case of Pablo Lyle, in which it was determined what will happen to the actor's bail, who had previously requested that it not be renewed because, according to the defense, he does not have the economic capacity to make further payments.

According to the EFE agency, Judge Diana Vizcaíno through Zoom dismissed the histrion's request and determined that the new bail he must pay is USD 45,000 to maintain his probation. He also ratified that Lyle will remain under surveillance, that is, the conditions were not changed.

When he got his parole, the protagonist of Mirreyes vs. Godinez also had to pay a deposit of USD 45,000 for two years and was placed with a GPS that he had to use 24 hours a day.

In addition to this, according to the Telemundo 51 news program, the actor must remain in the custody of the authorities until the payment of the new bail is made, since the previous one expires this Friday, April 8.

Although Pablo's lawyer, Philip Reizenstein, argued that his client's behavior has been good and shows that there is no risk of flight, the Prosecutor's Office determined that the circumstances in which Pablo was arrested persist.

“This court will respectfully set bail as originally set in 2020 by Judge (Alan) Fine in 2020 and (...) with GPS,” Judge Vizcaino said according to Telemundo 51.

And it is that Reizenstein, during the last hearing, explained that Lyle has financial problems since he has not worked for more than two years and, therefore, it is difficult for him to pay the new bail. Therefore, the request was for him to regain his freedom and find new ways of sustaining himself financially.

The histrion bail will have to be paid again amid the adjournment of his trial, which had been set for June 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and different requests from the defense, could not be held.
