More than a month ago, Residente premiered a musical collaboration with Argentine producer Bizarrap, in which he lashes out against J Balvin, whom he calls' goofy ',' pendejo ',' liar 'and 'false'. However, reactions to the conflict have not stopped arousing and Nicky Jam was one of the last to speak out.

According to what was stated by the Puerto Rican reggaetonero in an interview he gave to the YouTube program 'La resistencia, 'it was a surprise for him to learn that two of his greatest friends and colleagues had great differences, and above all that they had made them public.

It was then that he tried to intercede in the discussion so that the Colombian and the Puerto Rican would make the passes.

Despite the great influence that the interpreter of 'El amante' and 'Red Eyes' can have on both exponents of the urban genre, none of this paid off to end the conflict and that is why he decided to step aside.

“Not a damn thing has been fixed, but I was in those. And since I'm not the best negotiator, and the whole situation is difficult, I decided to step aside and let everything happen as it should happen,” he concluded.

Another of those who tried to intervene in the conflict was Mexican boxing figure Saúl Álvarez, who was asked by José Osorio Balvin (Antioquia's first name) to act as mediator before the issue of Residente came up.

This was revealed by Raúl de Molina, host of the Univision program 'El Gordo y La Flaca', who gave details of the phone call that 'Canelo' would have received from J Balvin, one of his most recent world-known friends and who even attended their wedding in June 2021.

But that was not all, since Álvarez would have been very close to preventing the release of the song, according to the words of the conductor, but the attitude of José Osorio's father would have knocked down any possibility of stopping the session with Bizarrap.

“Then it was the boxing champion who called him and that's why everything was fixed at first, but then J Balvin's father started putting those things on his social networks,” de Molina added.

Sebastián Yatra, for example, referred to the lawsuit through a post on Twitter and, although he did not do so with his own name, his message was interpreted as supporting his colleague and compatriot.

“So much hate destroying this society. Please, let us not incite violence. More respect... some humanity”, says the trill of the interpreter of 'Melancholic Anonymos' and 'Dos Oruguitas', to mention some of his successes.

Like Yatra, Ricardo Montaner took to his Twitter account to share a heartfelt message about the media problem that both Latin American artists are facing after the controversial stanzas that Puerto Rican dedicated to the Colombian.

The Spaniard Alejandro Sanz did take sides and, through a short but strong message, reminded his followers of the time they clashed in La Voz Mexico: “I just saw a murder committed with a pencil.”
