The Historical Pact increasingly announces alliances ahead of the 2022 Presidential Election. Although some have been the target of criticism from their opponents, such as the arrival of Alfonso Prada, former director of SENA, as head of debate and the possible closeness that would be between former President Ernesto Samper in recent hours.

Various sectors of social, political, trade unions, etc., hope to join the candidate who, according to them, will represent them the most in the coming seasons of government. Although there are still several weeks before the polls announce the president in the first round or decide on a second round of votes to define the candidate who will take power, thus succeeding the current president Iván Duque Márquez.

In the case of Federico Gutiérrez, he has recently been joined by an important letter of the New Liberalism, such as Carlos Negret, who aspired to reach the Senate with his party, but was not enough. Now the former ombudsman has said he joins Fico feeling more comfortable in that campaign where he will be a guarantor of human rights, according to the Antioquian candidate.

It has also been joined by a large group of entrepreneurs led by the renowned Mario Hernandez. While petrianism has also been joined by some important political sectors, as they will announce this Thursday morning with environmental leaders.

Petro's vice-presidential formula tweeted about the event to be held in Bogotá to confirm that a major group of environmental leaders will support the Historic Pact for the presidential elections. At 10 in the morning at the Hotel El Dorado in the Colombian capital, the meeting will be held to announce the addition of environmentalists to the Petro and France campaign.

The agenda for the next government should include issues such as the environment, taking into account the trend of policies that are intended and some countries are already exercising to counter climate change. For some years now, Gustavo Petro has been one of the main critics of the country's current economic dynamics in terms of oil exploitation, deforestation and other factors that he says harm the environment.

The speech of the leader of the Historical Pact has permeated environmental defenders who will now join the progressive team with the intention of having more space and more voice in the most remote territories, where populations are not usually heard and historically the State has been absent.

However, Francia Márquez is perhaps an important voice on environmental issues, as she has also been an advocate of ecosystems and territories, recognized for her work with the Goldman Prize for her activism, which has cost her death threats, attacks and criticism.

Even today, while waiting to be able to come to power with Petro, Márquez continues to encourage the care and protection of natural areas where exploitation licenses have been granted over the years and which she says have left the soils and the populations themselves mistreated.
