Former director of DAS will pay four years in prison for chuzadas case to Avianca

Laude José Fernández accepted the charges against him and reached a pre-agreement with the Prosecutor's Office, which was endorsed this Thursday by a female judge.

This Thursday, April 7, a judge endorsed the preagreement between Laude José Fernández, former director of the Administrative Department of Security (DAS), and the Attorney General's Office. The former official will pay four years in prison and a fine of 50 million pesos for illegal interceptions of the Avianca union.

Fernández accepted the charges against him for concert to aggravate crime, unlawful communications breach and personal data breach.
