The Israeli and German embassy regretted Aníbal Torres' expressions about the dictator Adolf Hitler. As you recall, the head of the PCM was making his speech in the city of Huancayo when he decided to praise the Nazi leader.

“In Germany they were just like us, but once Adolf Hitler visits northern Italy and Benito Mussolini shows him a motorway built from Milan to Brescia. Hitler saw that, went to his country and filled it with highways, airports. It made Germany the first economic power in the world,” said the premier.

Faced with this bad comparison, the Israeli institution in our country rejected Torres using both former dictators, responsible for millions of people's deaths during World War II, as examples of struggle and prosperity. They added that this represents an offense to the victims.

“We regret that Peruvian political discourse includes references such as Hitler and Mussolini as an example of prosperity. Regimes of death and terror cannot be a sign of progress. Hitler was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews, praising him is an offense to the victims of that world tragedy,” the Israeli embassy read on twitter.

In turn, the German embassy also rejected the versions released by Torres, who strongly agreed with the act of the bloodiest genocide of a whole century.

“Adolf Hitler was a fascist and genocidal dictator in whose name the worst war of all time was waged from Germany and a genocide of 6 million Jews was committed. Faced with this scenario, Hitler is not a suitable reference as an example of any kind,” they said.
