Throughout the history of Mexican television, some of these characters have crossed the screen causing unexpected reactions from the public. This happened to Chantal Andere, who after her successful debut on the soap opera Dulce Desafío fell victim to the fury that Rebeca Centeno provoked among the public.
During a meeting with the media, the actress recalled that during her youth she lived an unexpected experience that marked the beginning of her career after playing her first villain. According to his testimony, the events occurred while he was out of character, while he was doing some shopping with his mother Jacqueline Andere in a supermarket.
“I was going to the supermarket with my mother and a lady grabbed me with lettuce, with an eared lettuce she began to tell me: 'Why are you so cursed with Maricruz and I from OMG and my mother would say: 'Madam, it's a novel'”, she said.
Chantal Andere confessed that seeing the woman's reaction completely puzzled her and she didn't know what to do about it. Fortunately, she was not alone and, without making a fuss, she left with her mother on her way home. As soon as he arrived, he ran with his father, José María Fernández Usaín, to tell him what had happened and, contrary to what he expected, his reaction was very different.
“Sure, I came home very scared and told my dad: 'This just happened to us in the super' and he said to me: 'It's the best compliment and the best gift you've ever been given at your first antagonistic, '” she recalled proudly.
