The Ukrainian Government reported on Thursday the opening of ten humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians from the cities of Mariupol, Tokmak, Energodar, Melitopol, Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Popasna, Rubizhne, Gyrske and the Luhansk region.

The deputy prime minister and incumbent for the reintegration of the occupied territories of Ukraine, Iryna Vereschuk, confirmed the runners in a press appearance, in which she also specified the respective routes.

Thus, residents of Mariupol, Tokmak, Energodar and Melitopol will be evacuated to Zaporiyia, and the inhabitants of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Popansk, Rubizhne and Gyrske will be evacuated to Bajmut.

The evacuation of the cities of the Luhansk region will take place depending on the respect of the ceasefire by Russian troops, he stressed.

Regarding the corridors to Zaporiyia, he said that they have been approved for private vehicles and buses, except for the one that departs from Energodar, only for own vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Kherson region needs humanitarian aid and evacuation options, especially in the Beryslav district and in the villages bordering the Mykolaiv region, according to information from the regional military administrations cited by the Ukrinform agency.

According to this source, the inhabitants try to leave the villages taken over by Russian troops on their own.
