The relatives of Hugo Carbajal, a teenager killed at a party, lifted their blockade in the streets of Naucalpan, State of Mexico, after news of the arrest of the alleged murderer.
Through social networks, the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico reported that they completed the arrest warrant against Mauricio “N” for his probable intervention in the criminal act of homicide classified as a grievance of a minor victim.
According to the wording of the facts, it was the accused himself who voluntarily appeared at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Atizapán in Zaragoza, on Mexican territory, so he is presumed innocent.
It was reporter Carlos Jiménez who published the transfer of Mauricio “N” to the facilities of the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, better known in the area as the Barrientos Prison.
It was delivered there by the attorney general of the entity, José Luis Cervantes Martínez, accompanied by the Director of Judicial Orders, who arrived in a gray van with the man allegedly involved.
After exchanging a few words at the entrance gate, without revealing himself to whom he addressed both the greeting and the word, the prosecutor proceeded to withdraw from the area, to leave the legal status of the arrested person in the hands of the corresponding authorities.
Mauricio “N” was noted for his probable commission in the events that occurred in a party hall that was identified by the authorities as “Empire”, which is located in the municipality of Jilotzingo.
The accused carried out his work in the nightclub as a security guard, and allegedly caused a neck injury to the minor with a glass bottle, thus causing a sacred that lasted several hours. Hugo Carbajal finally lost his life in the hospital. The attack was caught on video by friends and colleagues who came with the teenager to the party.
These events prompted Hugo's parents, family, friends and acquaintances to go to Periférico Norte, at the height of Naucalli Park, in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, to close the lanes of this important vehicular traffic route.
It took more than 13 hours for them to release, first, a lane and then all the roads completely, staying only in a tent on the sidewalk in the area, which was their home until they received the news of their son's arrest.
Throughout their day, they met with various officials of the Public Prosecutor's Office, until the prosecutor himself agreed to have a meeting with Maureen Amaro, Hugo's mother, and hours later the arrest was announced.
“All that remains is to give results to her and to society,” the prosecutor said when confronting the media.
A few hours later Maureen Amaro gave a conference to the media in the vicinity of Parque Naucalli, in which she was accompanied by the Undersecretary General of Government of the State of Mexico, Ricardo de la Cruz Musalem.
Prior to the message from the authorities, Maureen thanked those who supported the demonstration, as well as the authorities, the federal government, the state government and the media.
“The media with us endured hunger and sun. Thanks to the government of the State of Mexico that gave us the support from day zero. I want to congratulate the Governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo del Mazo, AMLO, the federal government that helped arrest the murderer of Hugo Carbajal,” the woman said.
