Vladimir Cerrón is very active on his social networks and in the face of the crisis that the country is currently facing, he has not stopped speaking out, especially in the face of the actions of protesters in the transport stoppage and the measures taken by Pedro Castillo.
Through Twitter, the secretary general of Peru Libre, expressed his rejection with some actions taken by the head of state and his ministers.
“The right wing lost the battle in Parliament and, taking advantage of a strike by peasants and transporters, activated a criminal political, judicial and social front, against the President, who unfortunately gave an advantage by not implementing the government program that he promised in the campaign,” he wrote in the early hours of this April 5 when he met the curfew.
“Huancayo asks the government to solve high fuel prices, reduce toll prices, concrete support for agriculture, but the MEF says nothing, being driven by neoliberals and caviars. There are infiltrated right-wing politicians, but they are not the majority”, one of his tweets reads.
Cerrón also took advantage of this situation to request the Constituent Assembly, indicating that this is the solution to the social, economic and political problems that Peru is experiencing.
“The only permanent and peaceful solution for the country is a Constituent Assembly, where social classes reach consensus, abuse and discrimination end. We warn you: If there is no change of Constitution in the country, there is no change of anything!” , he wrote last April 4.
On the other hand, he questioned the people who have been present at the marches demanding solutions from Pedro Castillo in the face of the wave of violence in the interior of the country.
“The people must summon themselves to the squares demanding the Constituent Assembly to draw up the new Constitution. The State will never be able to regulate the prices of gasoline, fertilizers, tolls, etc., with the 1993 Constitution. The stone items of 58-65, forbid it,” he said.
In addition to these messages, Vladimir Cerrón did not hesitate to criticize the Congress of the Republic led by María del Carmen Alva.
“The only obstructive institution has been the Congress of the Republic, which has paralyzed the country, censoring ministers, trying vacancies, presenting unproductive motions, which generates instability and has a negative impact on the future of the people,” he said.

Through his Twitter account, Vladimir Cerrón did not hesitate to criticize Verónika Mendoza, who questioned Pedro Castillo's radical move on social immobility issued for this April 5. Faced with this, the secretary general of Peru Libre, stated that politics “broke into the party in search of its own interests.”
It is worth mentioning that prior to this message, Mendoza had an interview on Canal N where he assured that “the government has betrayed the promises of change for which the people chose Pedro Castillo”.
“You have betrayed her since you broke into the government of Peru Libre, with your personal and group ambitions, with your copation of the cabinet, preventing the implementation of the Party program, washing the President's head, fulfilling his role as agent of the right,” he wrote in TW.
As we recall, Verónika Mendoza rejected the curfew in Lima and Callao throughout Tuesday, April 5, decreed by President Pedro Castillo and considered that the government repeats criminalization as a method of “conflict resolution” of the right wing.
“My total rejection of this arbitrary and disproportionate measure that was previously imposed in the Southern Mining Corridor and other regions and which never solved anything but, on the contrary, put human rights at risk and deepened the distance between the State and the people,” he said on Twitter.
