Authorities from Mexico City conducted a search in the Morelos neighborhood, the main area of operation of cells belonging to the Tepito Union; which resulted in the securing of 121 doses of drugs and the arrest of two people, who had auto parts in their possession.

The Secretary of Citizen Security of the CDMX (SSC) reported the incident in a statement, in which it was announced that a search warrant issued by a judge was executed to review a property located on Costa Rica Street in the colony located in the center of the capital.

The authorities responded to a citizen's complaint that had reported the alleged storage of auto parts inside the home, and therefore an investigation kit was launched into the case.

The Public Prosecutor's Office dealing with the case gathered enough elements for a Control Judge to release the search warrant, “which was completed in a coordinated operational deployment that acted without the use of violence, and in strict adherence to the protocol of police action, use of force and respect for human rights”, as reported by the SSC.
