Colombians were amazed to learn that 'Bake Off', the popular British pastry competition, is coming to the country for the first time with its' celebrity 'version.
Although the information was confirmed several weeks ago by HBO Max, responsible for this new bet, in recent hours the journalist Carlos Ochoa, known as 'The Television Bible', gave detailed information about the celebrities who would be part of the reality show.
According to what was stated by the Teleantioquia presenter, the list of celebrities would be headed by actress Danna García, remembered thanks to productions such as 'Passion of Hawks', 'A hook to the heart' and 'Bella Calamidades'.
Another big surprise that 'Bake Off Celebrity Colombia' would bring would be the presence of Carlos Vargas, host of the gossip program 'La red', who would have asked for a vacation on Caracol Televisión to go and record the contest.
'El picante' would put it in the kitchen Maureen Belky Ramírez, better known as Marbelle, who despite her most recent controversies and scandals, would have been taken into account by the production of the contest after his outstanding participation in 'MasterChef Celebrity Colombia' (2021).
While 'the banana del dessert' would be actor Juan Manuel Restrepo, in charge of giving life to León in the second season of 'Passion of the Hawks' and young Charly in 'La reina del flow'.
In the quota of celebrities that would make up this first Colombian version of the pastry contest, Carlos Ochoa also highlighted singer Andrés Cabas, former footballer Carlos 'El Pibe' Valderrama and model Belky Arizala, who would make their debut in this type of production.
Finally, it was revealed that 'Bake Off Celebrity Colombia' will also include Cali influencer Natalia Giraldo and Bogota actress Johanna Fadul who, in fact, exposed in recent Instagram stories the place where the show was filmed: Santa Fe de Antioquia.
The original idea was born in England under the name 'The Great British Bake Off' ('The Great British Pastry Chef', in Spanish), and has migrated to other countries with great success, so HBO Max decided to bet on a national version full of celebrities.
What is not yet clear is the exact date when the competition will be released, although it is presumed to be between September and November of this year. In addition, it is rumored that Caracol Televisión could acquire the rights to broadcast it on its open signal.
