Former Alliance for Progress congressman Richard Acuña spoke on his Twitter account about the political and social crisis caused by the stoppage of carriers, mentioning that their form of governing is “lousy”.
“The country is bleeding to death because of the terrible way of governing @PedroCastilloTe and its Ministers. So far 6 innocent people leave their families in mourning and the ministers minimize this fact. Aníbal Torres must resign immediately”, he concluded.
On the other hand, yesterday during the curfew, he requested the resignation of the president, since he assures that his Government demonstrates incapacity and was against the measure used.
“@PedroCastilloTe quit now! Your government has demonstrated incapacity in the face of the demands of the people. Your back and forth have done nothing but hurt the country. We need stability and for that we need a new management. #CastilloRenunciaYa”, he assured.
“Is locking us up the solution? Your inability leads you to always make bad decisions. Definitely, the only way out of this crisis is for you to resign. #CastilloRenunciaY a”, he commented
On the first day of the strike, the son of the former presidential candidate expressed his annoyance at the president's silence, after 3 deaths occurred at that time.

CESAR ACUNA STARTED ELECTORAL CAMPAIGN
The leader of the Alliance for Progress, César Acuña, began the electoral campaign for the 2022 municipal and regional elections, to be held in October this year. In addition, he said that he is sure that they will obtain the largest number of mayors in metropolitan Lima.
“We have very good candidates and in all districts. That's why we made the best selection of leaders for the best team: APP,” he said.
Her first visit for this beginning of the election campaign was in the district of San Juan de Miraflores, in a meeting with women leaders of the community.
In this regard, Acuña Peralta was very optimistic about the future election results, considering that his political organization had managed to articulate a good team of candidates in the capital's districts. I therefore invite your candidates to be optimistic. “Today the conquest of Lima begins.”
“That is why we are going to walk hand in hand in all the districts so that they know me and that APP is a party that wants to build a better Lima,” he added.
Finally, he recalled the election campaign in La Libertad, where he was twice elected mayor of Trujillo and regional governor. “In Lima the history of Trujillo will be repeated, in 2006, because we are going to sweep in Lima and I am sure that we will win the most districts. Long live APP!”
On the rise in prices, Acuña said that this has exceeded the patience of the people and that the family economy is in a difficult situation, and he also calls on the Government to implement immediate measures.
“The rise in food, fuel and fertilizer prices has exceeded the patience of the people. The family economy is in a difficult situation. I call on the government to implement immediate measures to resolve this crisis. He has the instruments for it. Let's not waste time,” he said
