Faced with the acts of violence that have occurred in recent hours during the Pan-American South blockades in Ica, the Minister of the Interior, Alfonso Chávarry, reported that he is going to that city, in order to reinforce the work of police officers.
WITH 150 AGENTS
The head of the interior said that he is traveling with 150 agents of the National Directorate of Special Operations (Dinoes), who will support the troops in the area, in the face of road blockades by some vandals.
In addition, he indicated that they are also aware that violentists have detained two policemen. “We are going to make ourselves available to the head of the Macro Region Ica to support and restore order in that city,” he said.
