It was recently revealed by journalist Daniel Coronell, an alleged case of influence-trafficking that would have resulted in the transfer of official Angelica Monsalve from Bogotá to Putumayo. Monsalve had cited three members of the Ríos family, an important lineage with several powerful contacts, to imputation. Precisely they would have approached Néstor Humberto, so that in turn he would reach Rodrigo Noguera and try to reconcile with Monsalve .

A new conversation was revealed about this case that further points Néstor Humberto Martínez to irregularities. The daughter of Rodrigo Noguera, Catalina Noguera, who was the former director of Extinction of Dominion and held other important positions, would have mentioned in a talk with Monsalve, that Martínez allegedly made efforts in his administration not to touch on Odebrecht issues, and even that he was still doing so.

“Néstor Humberto has made a lot of emphasis on the subject of Odebrecht so that nothing is done in the Prosecutor's Office and that is why neither with Barbosa nor will anything come out with anyone,” Catalina Noguera told Angelica Monsalve and her father Rodrigo Noguera, in a conversation recorded and revealed in the same way by Daniel Coronell at W.

It should be remembered that Odebrecht is one of the largest corruption cases in recent Latin American history, spanning more than 30 years. It is based on an investigation by the United States Department of Justice, along with 10 other Latin American countries, into Brazilian construction company Odebrecht. This investigation details how Odebrecht would have made money bribes and bribes to presidents, former presidents and government officials of 12 countries: Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Mozambique, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, United States, and Venezuela, for the past 20 years years, to make profits in public procurement.

These allegations are in addition to those that would indicate that Martínez allegedly interceded for the transfer of Angelica Monsalve to Putumayo.

For his part, Martínez in an audio denied Coronell the points made by Catalina Noguera, whom he disqualified: “I am surprised that this phrase is true and my name is put into question and in doubt, but that credibility is also given to a lady who at the time was the director of extinction of dominion, under a prosecutor, and then become the delegate against criminal finance, conduct research with magazines and newspapers.”

While this is happening, they warn of a possible attack against prosecutor Angelica Monsalve, the Attorney General's Office received an alert from the SIU-Dijin Special Investigation Unit assuring that there would be a plan to attack Maria Angelica Monsalve. The National Police informed the judiciary that, “a criminal organization intends to carry out a possible attack to affect the physical integrity” of the prosecutor delegated to Circuit Judges of the Bogotá Sectional Directorate.

As soon as the alert arrived, the Public Prosecutor's Office informed the official of the situation as soon as possible. He also assigned a security scheme to Monsalve immediately, preventively and extraordinarily through the Department of Protection and Assistance of the judiciary.

In the statement issued by the Prosecutor's Office, it was reiterated to public opinion that, “it does not accept any interference in the exercise of the function of its prosecutors and always protects all its servants from situations that endanger their lives and integrity”.
