Fernández Noroña lashed out at US congressman who asked to withdraw his visa: “He is a subnormal”

Vicente González proposed to withdraw the visa to supposedly “pro-Russian” Mexican MPs, but made some mistakes

Vicente González, US congressman, proposed in the last few hours that visas be revoked to Mexican officials who are part of the so-called Committee of Mexico-Russia Friendship promoted by the National Regeneration Movement and the Labour Party in the Chamber of Deputies.

The petista Gerardo Fernández Noroña is one of the people on the list of those who could be left without a visa following the letter sent by the Texan to secretaries Antony Blinken and Alejandro Mayorkas, so he responded forcefully through social networks.

In the face of these threats, Noroña replied to González several inaccuracies within his list, so he even called it “subnormal” and dedicated the following words to him on his official Twitter: “Your clumsiness is only the size of your ignorance: immeasurable”.

This, after Fernández Noroña evidenced that there are several deputies on the list who do not belong to the current Legislature, and therefore, they do not are part of the Mexico-Russia Friendship Group promoted, inter alia, by its parliamentary group.

These are the deputies of the last Legislature Pedro Daniel Abasolo Sanchez, Alfredo Porras Dominguez, Miriam Citlally Perez Mackintosh, Maria Roselia Jimenez Perez (who appears as Rosalia), Eraclio Rodriguez Gomez, Oscar Gonzalez Yáñez, Santiago Gonzalez Soto, José Luis Garcia Duque, Manuel Huerta and José Mario Osuna Medina.

On the other hand, the deputy Francisco Javier Huacus (whom they refer to by the surname of Huacas), decided to change parties, and since 2021, he has not been part of the Petistas. It was in June, a few days after establishing the new Legislature, that the official decided to switch to the Va Por México coalition in the PRD bench.

“Even still a fugitive and went to the PRI include, they say Huacas but it is Huacus. It could be Huacalas, although guácalas is written,” the Mexican official wrote mockingly.

In addition, Noroña reported that yet another of those listed died recently. This is former deputy Raúl Ernesto Sánchez Barrales Zavala, who served in the LXIV Legislature. Even the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies observed a minute of silence in memory on February 15, 2022.

Sánchez Barrales arrived at the Congress of the Union on August 29, 2018 by the principle of election of relative majority, representative of the 15th district of the State of Mexico, in the city of Adolfo López Materos, municipality of Tlalnepantla.

During his position he was secretary of the Public Security Commission and a member of the Transparency and Anti-Corruption Commission, among others from which he discharged, such as Culture and Cinematography, Budget and Public Account or Bicamaral of National Security.

It was on March 24, 2022 when the Mexico-Russia Friendship Group was installed. As president, Congressman Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez acted, who is also on the list of those who could lose their US visa.

Anaya Gutierrez said she was neutral within Russia's invasion of Ukraine, so she extended her vote to find a diplomatic and peaceful way out of the military operation. “Welcome relations with Ukraine, welcome relations with Russia”, was his opening phrase.

The ceremony was also attended by members of Morena and PT, who expressed respect for the sovereignty and self-determination of peoples before the Russian ambassador to Mexico, Viktor Koronelli.
