Eric del Castillo is one of the first actors on Televisa, since 1962 he has worked with the Dream Factory. However, he revealed that he does not have the treatment he would like and often feels bad about what he has to do to enter the television station's premises.
After leaving Televisa for a few months, Eric del Castillo in a meeting with Eden Dorantes on the outskirts of the Azcarraga company, announced that he was again called to participate in a melodrama of the television station with producer Carlos Moreno. However, he confessed that he is not entirely comfortable, because, as he shared, being a veteran actor, he no longer enjoys the same treatment as other histrions.
“Times have changed, now I feel sorry to enter with a... I used to go in with my badge, now I have to queue up to get in and I don't like it, that we who have been there for more than 30 years, should have more attention with one”, the protagonist of Las nieces del diablo began his complaint.
He added that he does not feel like an actor with dozens of years of experience, but on the contrary, because that is the treatment he receives when he arrives at the company he worked for so long.
He said he understood that these are new rules of Televisa and that he respects them, but he does not stop feeling uncomfortable. That is why he asked that there be better treatment and more respect for first actors like him.
His first telenovela on Televisa was La herencia de 1962, since then he participated in several dozen productions of La Fábrica de Sueños, for many years as a protagonist.
It was in 2017 when he began to move away from televisa and dedicated himself mainly to theater, although he also had a participation in La Doña (2020), Telemundo's telenovela.
Despite the statements he made regarding the treatment he receives on the San Ángel television station, he confessed that he is very happy to return and, above all, to have the opportunity to be part of a melodrama again.
On the other hand, the story spoke about her daughter Kate and her alleged new boyfriend, Edgar Bahena. According to Del Castillo, the man with whom his daughter was photographed he did not consider him his son-in-law, although he did not want to go into detail.
“Now you put him to me as a son-in-law. Well, I see him as my daughter's suitor. I don't get involved, that's up to them, and whatever they decide, I support them and I agree,” said the protagonist of Perro Callejero.
He also spoke about what he expects in his case about the investigation that was conducted against Kateb for alleged money laundering after the photo was published in which he is seen with Sean Penn and El Chapo Guzman.
