The organization Mexico United Against Crime (MUCD) accused that the Federal Commission for the Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris) continues to obstruct permits for the personal use of cannabis, in addition, invents requirements that prevent the procedure after the support of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCN).
According to MUCD, Cofepris is obliged to issue permits to any citizen who requests it, provided that they meet the age of majority, given the General Declaration of Unconstitutionality published in June 2021.
