The rumors and criticisms surrounding Belinda and her decision to go live in Spain have not stopped, because while some fans or netizens pointed out that the reasons for her departure could be linked to her most recent love break with Christian Nodal, others lashed out at her after she said she was proud to be Spanish.
It was because of this, that the performer of hits such as Dying Slow or Light without Gravity decided to break the silence once and for all and in an interview with Venga la Alegría she mentioned what were the real reasons why she is now residing in Europe.
“What I meant was that I have my Spanish family, I was born in Madrid, that doesn't mean that I'm not Mexican too [...] I love Mexico I always carry it in my heart wherever I go and I'm in Spain temporarily living,” he remarked.
The singer from Sapito pointed out that she is doing several projects in that country and that is why she moved to Spain for a while.
“I am between two loves (Mexico and Spain), it is also because of labor issues and what father can work elsewhere. I think it's something nice, they're incredible projects that I fell in love with, so I'm taking advantage of this because of labor issues and Spain is very nice too and obviously I miss Mexico,” he said.
Regarding her love situation, Belinda did not want to go into much detail, but she mentioned that she is at a good time in her life and that she feels full of herself.
“I am super focused on my work, I think it was what I needed in what I am most passionate about, which is my job, my career (..) so that excites me. I'm working with talented people and right now it's my biggest love,” he added.
