“Asked”: the interactive series based on the mobile game arrived on Netflix

Last April 1st, Preguntados (Trivia Quest) made its big leap to TV through Netflix with daily premieres of fun quiz games. Originally, the Etermax franchise was born as an online mobile application where users could face others by answering a total of 12 questions focused on various topics. Now, the dynamic has completely become a narrative that takes the audience to the role of protagonist through an interactive system.

“The players are set out on a mission to help our hero Willy and rescue the citizens of Trivialand from the evil Rocky, who is determined to accumulate all the knowledge in the world,” the official synopsis states. There will be 30 episodes in total that will be released throughout this month and each of these will consist of 24 questions, half of them standard cut and the other half of greater difficulty, on categories of science, history, entertainment, sports, art and geography. Participants will be able to choose one answer from four multiple options.

As with other interactive specials, the purpose of the new title will be to introduce players to this mission to help Willy, the hero, and rescue the city of Rocky, the antagonist who wants to capture all the knowledge in the world. If you win, you will have saved the day for the animated characters, but if you lose, you will endanger each of them under the tyranny of this evil villain.

Produced by Daniel Calin and Vin Rubino (Sunday Sauce Productions), Preguntados consists of a complement and expansion of Netflix's initiative to launch mobile games. It should be noted that to access the interactivity of this production you need a compatible device: smart TVs, multimedia players, game consoles, computer browsers, Android phones and tablets, as well as iPhones, iPads and iPod touch.

The dynamic of Asked on Netflix

There are 30 episodes that will be released throughout April, one per day, and each of these will have 24 questions (12 simple and 12 difficult). If they don't get everything right, competitors can re-answer all questions to get the right answers and continue to score points. In addition, in certain parts of the game, the kidnapped characters manage to be freed from Rocky's lair through entertaining animations that were inspired by the original label of the streaming service's productions.

Each trivia of Preguntados has a different ending to keep the player's surprise throughout this adventure to accompany Willy in the rescue of the city Trivialandia. Since April 1, a new set of 24 questions is released every day through the Netflix catalog. Are you ready to play?
