After assault and shooting, they found a lifeless body outside school in León

The early morning of this Wednesday, April 6, there was a confrontation between alleged criminals and police officers from León, Guanajuato, because minutes earlier they had carried out a robbery inside a home in the Satélite neighborhood; after the events, a lifeless body was found in a car outside a school.

According to the information provided by the authorities, the security cameras connected to the entity's C5 captured the moment when two subjects stripped a woman of her belongings, a fact that was carried out with obvious violence.

The subjects reportedly entered the home while their accomplices waited for them in the street to ensure that no one noticed the violent acts, but minutes later they were intercepted by the state security forces.

Only one member of the Ministerial Police was close to the scene and was the first respondent to the case, since he intercepted the subjects after they left the house, who fired a firearm against the officer. Municipal police later moved to attend to the case.

The uniformed man responded in the same way, stating that one of the criminals was injured by the shooting, but he had managed to escape thanks to the help of his accomplices, who reportedly transported him in a car about which no information was given.

Hours later, while state police were conducting a security operation to find those responsible for the crime, they detected a lifeless body inside a Nissan car, which is presumed to correspond to the injured criminal during the early morning of this Wednesday, 6.

After realizing the presence of the body with apparent gunshot wounds, the uniformed men requested the presence of paramedics in the place where the car was parked, which was parked outside a public elementary school in the Satélite colony.

Paramedics who came to check the body confirmed that he lacked vital signs and had four gunshot wounds, which would have ended his life hours earlier.

The perimeter was secured and cordoned off for the experts of the local prosecutor's office to carry out the proceedings of gathering evidence and the body, which will be integrated into the investigation folder for the case, which has already been opened by the public prosecutor's office of the entity.

The authorities did not report on the measures they took to prevent the presence of minors at the scene, but it transpired that classes were suspended in the campus close to the violence.

Just one day before these events, a man was shot in Honda Street in San Miguel, on the corner of Río Mayo in the San Miguel neighborhood, where the subject was attacked by unknown subjects traveling inside a vehicle, on board which they fled.

According to witness statements, the men arrived at the scene and became aware of the victim's presence, so they got out of the vehicle and began to pursue him, and then fire at him on different occasions.

Although the victim appeared to have escaped the attack during the first moments in which he was pursued, the attackers managed to knock him down outside a grocery store, where they fired at him three times, the same number of bullets that hit his body.

The subject, approximately 30 years old, was transferred to a nearby hospital and so far is reported stable. The authorities have not released his identity, but are already investigating the facts.
