On Tuesday, April 5, the Mayor's Office of Bogotá announced that according to data reported by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB), as of March 31, there were more than 488,000 renewals of commercial registration, 305,000 for entrepreneurs, between natural and legal persons, and 183,000 of commercial establishments.

The information also detailed that the total number of renovated productive units registered an approximate increase of 4% compared to the same renovation period in 2021 and a slight decrease of 1% compared to 2019, a comparable year prior to the pandemic.

As for the form of registration used by entrepreneurs in the capital, it was known that there was a significant increase in the use of virtual services. “Of the total number of renewals, it was possible to maintain 95% of the forms filled out virtually, as was recorded during 2021,” the report detailed.

But in addition to the entrepreneurs who renewed virtually, 69% made the payment through the ccb.org.co portal or in a bank, which represented similar behavior to 2021.
