
President Pedro Castillo decided to declare citizen irremovability for all of Lima and Callao this Tuesday, April 5 from 2:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., following a brief message that gave the Nation the face of the wave of protests and popular overflow that has been going on in Peru since last week and which was sharpened by the stoppage of carriers, whose guilds blocked the main roads and roads that connect the capital with the interior of the country and violently confronted the National Police.
According to Supreme Decree No. 025-2022-PCM, from 2:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, mandatory social immobilization is provided for all persons in their homes, in the districts of Metropolitan Lima in the department of Lima and in the Constitutional Province of Callao.
LABOR PASS
This new order of social immobility has left many doubts among Peruvians, since many will not be able to leave their homes, even to buy from the wineries, delivery will be prohibited and all shopping centers, restaurants and establishments will not be able to attend until the end of the curfew. But should those people who do have to go out to work have the renewed work pass?
During this compulsory social immobilization, strictly necessary personnel involved in the provision of health services, medicines, continuity of water, sanitation, electric power, gas, fuel, telecommunications and related activities, cleaning and collection of solid waste, funeral services, transportation of cargo and goods and related activities.
Pharmacies and pharmacies will also be allowed to provide care according to the standard of the subject matter. In addition, print, radio or television personnel may transit during the period of compulsory social immobilization provided that they carry their personal work pass, their respective journalistic credential and their National Identity Document for identification purposes. Authorization is also extensive for mobile units that transport them for the fulfillment of their function.
Likewise, people who require urgent or emergency medical attention due to their life or health being at serious risk are permitted by private vehicle or pedestrian vehicle, as well as for the purchase of medicines. Workers in the public and private sectors perform only remote work, in accordance with the relevant regulations”
Thus, a compulsory work pass will not be required to use a private vehicle or transit during curfew hours to go to the workplace, the citizen must carry: DNI and work card

FINES FOR OFFENDERS
Those who do not comply with the law during the curfew will have to pay a fine.
These are the reasons for which they could be sanctioned and their respective fines:
- Circulate on the street in the middle of a curfew. Fine: S/ 264.00
- Driving on public roads without wearing the mask for mandatory use. S/ 352.00
- Failure to respect the mandatory distance meter, or form agglomerations in markets or supermarkets whose opening is allowed. Fine: S/ 88.00
- Leave home during compulsory social immobilization. S/ 440.00
- Walking on public roads during compulsory social immobilization. Fine: S/ 396.00
- To develop social, recreational, cultural, religious, crowding activities or mass/non-mass crowds on public roads. Fine: S/ 396.00
- Do not carry an identity document when you leave or refuse to identify yourself if required by a member of the PNP or the Armed Forces (FF. AA.). Fine: S/ 440.00
