Again, Snoop Dogg showed through his social networks the approach and sympathy he has towards Colombia and its tourist attractions. Two weeks ago, the American surprised the country by sharing in one of his Instagram stories a post that featured the image of the candidate for the Vice President of the Republic, Francia Márquez, and now, he drew attention with a post referring to a major city.
In his profile, the American posted the video of a roller skate tour through the capital of Antioquia. At the foot of the publication he accommodated several emojis of flames along with the flag of Colombia; even, within that recording where a group of young people appears walking along a main avenue of the city he wrote: “skate night in Medellín”.
The publication has reached more than seven million views and nearly 1,100,000 likes. In addition, thousands of Colombians have taken advantage of the moment to highlight the 'pride of paisa'. In fact, several national artists such as Reykon, Maluma and 'Mona' Osorio -J Balvin's ex-girlfriend- reacted positively to the post, which was also commented on by the rap group Alcolirykoz, because the name of the neighborhood appears on one of the fences Aranjuez.
It is worth highlighting other facts where the artist, through social networks, has mentioned figures from Colombia, such as the time he uploaded, also to Instagram, a video featuring the weightlifter Oscar Figueroa.

In the clip, which reached more than three million views, the Olympic athlete is seen with the face of the rapper, a fact that caused grace to the community of users who follow him on his social networks, especially Colombians.
Another precedent occurred in June last year after Hurricane Iota passed through San Andrés and Providencia, destroying hundreds of homes and commercial premises.
Faced with that natural disaster, the star said he would do a concert to help the victims of the island: “Hey, I'm the great Snoop Dogg and I want you to watch my streaming show on Iam San Andrés Live Aid. Colombia i love you”, said the singer at that time.
And on March 26, the performer of hits such as 'Young, Wild & Free', 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and 'Gin And Juice' among others, gave a 'nod' to Francia Márquez, Gustavo Petro's current vice-presidential formula to the presidency.
The rapper shared a post about the social leader with his more than 71 million followers on the social network. Without adding words or gifs to the story, the gangsta rap icon shared the headline: “Francia Márquez, the Afro-Colombian land defender who is competing to be Colombia's first black vice president.”
It is worth remembering that Márquez is the first black woman in Colombian history to be a candidate for the vice presidency, and the post shared by Snoop Dogg alluded to an interview with the candidate for the Democracy Now portal in February of this year.
In this article, Márquez assures that, as in the United States, in Colombia it is a death sentence to be part of black, impoverished and racialized youth; and although it is not certain whether the American read the article or not, the truth is that he made the Caucan aspirant visible to the world.
