This is how you can get a full scholarship for master's studies in Spain

If you plan to study abroad, Infobae Colombia tells you about the scholarship available to the Colombian Institute for Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad (Icetex) for master's studies at the University of Salamanca, located in Spain.

According to the entity, the program is aimed at Colombian university professionals who work in public or private entities, or who preferably have professional experience related to the program to be carried out. Some of these are, Agrobiotechnology, Advanced Multivariate Data Analysis and Big Data, Economic Analysis of Law and Public Policy.

Similarly, applicants must be pre-enrolled by the University of Salamanca, be over 20 years old and under 65, have a minimum undergraduate score average of 3.7/5.0; and preferably have at least one year of professional experience (that is, after having obtained the degree university) in the area of the program to be carried out.

The entity also specified that it is a requirement to enjoy good physical and mental health, as well as to advance the admission process and to have the process for the equivalence of the professional degree ready.

Those selected will be tuition-free and in programs longer than one academic year, only 60 credits of the first year will be financed from the program; the cost of the other credits is borne by the student. They will also be entitled to medical insurance that will cover the costs arising from illness or accident.

The duration of the program is 11 months, starting on September 15, 2022 and ending on July 31, 2023.

These are the documents required for the call:

-Teaching center form:

The form (available in each master's program offered), must be completed in its entirety and a copy kept to be uploaded to the Icetex application platform. Candidatures who do not submit the university of salamanca form will be excluded from the process.

-Undergraduate university degree: the specialization degree is not valid.

-Certificate of undergraduate notes:

The certificate of undergraduate grades must be with cumulative weighted average of the career. Digital certificates must be issued by universities, other types of certifications are not valid.

-Letters of academic recommendation:

Preferably from teachers or people with whom the candidate has had an academic or employment relationship.

-Certificate of professional experience:

The certificate (in Spanish) must be issued by the entity or entities where you have worked professionally, detailing the functions performed and those you currently perform.

-Resume: must be a maximum of two pages without attachments.

-Process of equivalence of the professional title:

The process of equivalence of the professional degree must be carried out before the Salamanca University or the Ministry of Education of the Government of Spain. Equivalence refers to the essential procedure for pursuing official postgraduate studies for graduate students under education systems outside the EESS (European Higher Education Area). It has a cost of 210.97 euros.

This procedure must be in process, but it is not a requirement to participate in the call.
