A U.S. district judge imposed prison sentences for 10 individuals linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) for conspiracy to import fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.
Two of those involved were sentenced on Monday, April 4. They are Juan José García Lema (45 years old, Nuevo León), who received a sentence of 80 months in prison, and Jorge Luis Castellanos (37 years old, Michoacán), who was sentenced to 67 months by Judge Diana Saldana.
Meanwhile, the remaining eight received their sentences last week, ranging from 108 months to 210 (between the ages of nine and 17).
