The European team that wants to concentrate in the same bunker as Argentina during the World Cup in Qatar

“Spain has a house seen in Doha to settle in during the World Cup, but its reservation is not assured,” Madrid newspaper Marca reported days ago. The media in question detailed that the area in which they intend to stay had been chosen by the Egyptian federation, but that when it was eliminated, it became vacant.

The problem and uncertainty would lie in the fact that, in the previous one, the AFA requested that free space for the family members of the players on the squad to stay. From Spain, they finally detailed that FIFA will be responsible for defining what will happen to that place in question, however, the RFEF would be better positioned since they consider that the albiceleste petition does not have to do with the squad in question but with “people who do not have to do with their delegation”.

In any case, in the event that FIFA is in favour of the Spanish national team's request, it should be noted that the place is extremely large, so that the two entities would not cross each other at almost any time. If this is not the case, the Spaniards would build another headquarters that would also have convinced them.

“What really interests me is that we are in one place and we can train and sleep in the same place. Don't grab a bus, go back and forth. That whole journey doesn't convince me. I don't care if there are ten points or eight points in the place to sleep, I don't care. I know it will be a good place in the end, but what worries me is the issue of displacement. That we are there, that we finish training and that the player if he wants to stay there,” said Lionel Scaloni in the run-up to the last match against Venezuela, regarding the venue where the national team would stay.

The reality is that the University of Qatar, named the best educational establishment in the country and one of the best in Asia, has everything necessary for the footballers and the rest of the delegation to spend their days in the best comfort.

The sports campus has two courts renovated by the event organization that have lighting, so that the team can practice in the afternoon and evening hours, due to the high temperatures of the place.

Another information that this medium accessed is that the Argentine Football Association would invest a significant amount of money to prepare the facilities and give the place an “Argentine touch” in order to make the football players, the coaching staff and the staff feel as if they were on the same premises as Ezeiza.

For that, one of the measures would be to install some grills to be able to enjoy a good roast with Argentine meat. There would also be the classic plottos in the area of the footballers' rooms.
