One injured and 17 captured after fight between Bucaramanga and Once Caldas fans

With this, there are already two violent events that were recorded within the framework of the 14th date of Colombian football

The football party was again marred by violence between fans, in this case, the regrettable event took place in the city of Manizales, capital of the department of Caldas, prior to the match between Once Caldas and Bucaramanga on the 14th date of the Colombian tournament, fans of the two teams, clashed with knives in near the Palogrande stadium, a situation that left one injured and 17 captured by the authorities, however the local administration has not yet provided an official report on the facts.

In the videos obtained by amateurs and security cameras, you can see the presence of fans of the two teams with blunt weapons, among them: machetes, knives and sticks, Pulzo can establish that, according to the authorities, this fact is completely isolated, since the presence of not all the bars was recorded, since they were subjects who arrived in the city outside the authorized caravans of the visiting team.

The affected person recorded a stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to a care center by the Special Rescue Group of Raldas (GER), for immediate attention, since the severity of the injury was notorious, given the high presence of blood on his clothes and on the ground, this fan was identified as Luis Felipe Marín Diaz, 30 years old. The aggressor was captured thanks to the support of security cameras in mediations of this sports scene.

Despite the fact that the match was scheduled to start at 8 in the evening, the fans began to arrive at this place from the afternoon, it was on gate 18 of the stadium that these events were recorded, because according to the newspaper El Tiempo, the affected fan was directly approached by fans of the Atletico Bucaramanga, who caused the injury.

For their part, some witnesses to the event indicated that the authorities were slow to arrive at the site, a situation that prolonged the fight and allowed this regrettable outcome, in the same way, there are questions about the security rings that must guard this type of sporting events, taking into account the antecedent between bars that affect no only to Manizales, but to the whole country.

Added to that is the regrettable event that took place on the Cota-Chia road, when Atlético Nacional fans in the pre-match between the verdolaga team and Patriotas de Boyacá, faced each other, leaving several injured. As a particular fact, it was fans of the same team who fought on this important road in the country, it was about 450 fans who were involved in the confrontation.

This dispute would be caused by an internal discussion between fans members of the Los del Sur bar of Medellín and Los Verdolagas de Bogotá, who found themselves on this road artery and started the dispute with weapons, machetes and stones, there were approximately 15 buses that moved from Medellín to Tunja, but they were in the road with the vehicles that transported the fans traveling from Bogotá.

From the National Government, the unison of rejection arises around violence in football, as this limits the guarantees for the rest of the attendees and, in addition, degrades the conditions set out for the same event. The Minister of the Interior, Daniel Palacios, rejected what happened and stressed that, in view of this fact, there would be more captures stating: “We reject facts recorded between alleged Atlético Nacional supporters, on via Cota - Chia. Football is a sporting expression that we must protect, violence cannot be tolerated. The authorities will find those responsible for these acts. #FútbolEnPaz”.
