In Boca de Todos: How did your drivers react after not going on the air due to the curfew?

The program En Boca de Todos did not air this Tuesday, April 5, because América Televisión made the decision to expand its newscast to cover all the incidents of the social irremovability that was decreed by the Government of Pedro Castillo in order to restore internal order from Lima and Callao.

As we recall, the rise in fuel and the basic food basket caused a stoppage of carriers nationwide. Likewise, due to the shortage of some products, rumors of alleged looting of different markets and shopping centers emerged in different parts of the capital.

It should be noted that at the moment it is unknown whether Pedro Castillo's measure will be extended for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6, and with it the non-broadcast of the América Televisión magazine.

Despite the fact that the drivers have not been to work today, they have not stopped speaking out on their social networks. Maju Mantilla used his Instagram account to question the curfew, noting that this will not solve the protests of carriers.

“State of emergency (Tuesday, April 5) Citizen immobilization from 2 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. And I hope that I will talk about the measures that will solve the crisis that the country is experiencing. Puzzling,” wrote the TV host.

Gino Pesaressi also used his social networks to express his rejection of social irremovability, noting that Pedro Castillo's announcement was made late at night and that people who sleep early to go out to work at dawn were going to take off a surprise.

“Incredible that people are warned in this way, many due to lack of knowledge will flout the order (especially because they need to go out to work). Not only a clear lack of action on the part of the government, but also a total lack of judgment in the face of crises,” he said.

Likewise, the television host questioned the fact that the measure took place throughout Lima and Callao and not outside the capital, where acts of vandalism such as the blockade of roads and damage to the cars that were trying to transit took place.
