During the last few days, controversy arose over the meeting of the Mayor's Office of Medellín, with the presidential candidate of the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro.

In dialogue with La FM, Daniel Quintero, mayor of Medellín, clarified his wife's actions and his relationship with petrianism, “those are already conjectures and answering that question is participating in politics. What I would say in general is that, as Juan Gabriel once said, what is obvious is not asked,” he said.

In addition, Daniel mentioned the relationship of some officials with the political sector, since weeks ago two of his secretaries resigned from office to join Gustavo Petro's campaign in Antioquia and also with his wife's political inclinations.

Regarding the start of the operation of Hidroituango, Daniel Quintero announced that he would postpone it because he wants to guarantee the quality of the project, “Hidroituango is one of the most complex projects in the whole world, we promised to take it forward, but with truth and bad we would start running and fall again as it happened before . We have already recovered 4.3 billion pesos.”

According to the agreement, the work will be delivered within the deadline despite the announcement of an advance in the work.

Likewise, he warned that companies that are working in the first phase of this work can apply for the realization of turbines 5, 6, 7 and 8, but through the tender.

This Tuesday, April 5, a round of meetings with citizens called 'Petro listens to' began and Neiva will be the first city where it will be inaugurated.

The candidate of the Historical Pact is the one who leads the voting intention in the different polls carried out, followed by Federico Gutiérrez, so, for some experts, these two will most likely face each other in a second round, which is why Gustavo Petro hopes to continue adding followers to his campaign in the first round.

The 'Petro listens to you' strategy will strengthen the communication of the presidential candidate and citizens, in order to be able to explain first-hand the proposals he hopes to make in the country and thus listen to the requests of people about some of the problems that exist in their respective cities and regions.

This initiative will be launched in the city of Neiva, capital of Huila, and if it comes out in the best way, the presidential candidate will implement it throughout the country. What stands out about this initiative is the hand-in-hand encounter with citizens, to listen to them and be heard about some of the great concerns of citizens. According to the presidential candidate's work team, these concerns will be included in the government program of the candidate of the Historical Pact.
