Rock in the snow, a heavy metal cruise and flights from Berlin to the US

Kings of Leon plays at the ski resort of Ischgl

At the end of the ski season, the American rock band Kings of Leon will perform at the Austrian ski resort Ischgl, located next to the Swiss village of Samnaun.

The open-air concert will take place on 30 April in Idalp Park, at an altitude of 2,320 meters. The season in the Austro-Swiss ski resort ends on May 1.

United Airlines flies from Berlin to New York and Washington

From 28 March there are direct flights to the United States from Berlin Willy Brandt Airport (BER). United Airlines will fly all year round from the German capital to Newark, near New York. Meanwhile, from May 27, a second US destination, Washington D.C., will be added.

Full Metal Cruise to Scotland and England in June

Heavy metal on the high seas: Tui Cruises offers the ninth edition of the Full Metal cruise ship. Bands such as Overkill, Satan and Apocalyptica will perform on three stages of “Mein Schiff 3". The cruise leaves Bremerhaven on 2 June. The five-day heavy metal sea festival runs through Invergordon (Scotland) and Newcastle (England) before returning to the German port.
