Twitter will allow you to leave a conversation thread

When you leave a thread from the social network, the notification remains in the background without any interference from the main tweet

Social media continues to strive to innovate and improve its platforms, with the incorporation of many features and elements that allow users to have a more digital space easy to use. One of the most active in the first quarter of the year was Twitter, as it revealed several new tools to the community, some of which were leaked.

Now, as discovered and shared by security researcher Jane Manchun Wong, the company is working on a new option to be able to leave a conversation thread in which the user has been tagged. Of course, it will work differently than the ability to silence them.

Very soon it will be possible to leave a conversation thread on Twitter

It was reported that Twitter developers are working on the possibility that users who have been tagged in a conversation thread can leave it. Currently, the app only has the option to mute the conversation, but it will be a simpler and more convenient function to mute when participating in the conversation.

Wong, who detailed some of the app's novelties, argues that the main difference is that the full link of the main tweet is broken and the notification remains in the background without any interference from the main tweet.

Similarly, it is worth mentioning that the user, even if he leaves the thread, can still see that conversation.

This is how to create a thread on Twitter

Once in the Twitter app, you have to press the pen icon to create a new tweet, which will take the user to a screen where they can start typing.

Now, on the tweet creation screen, tap the bottom right button to be able to add more pipeline tweets.

This type of 'string' will be the thread and you can add all the tweets that the user wants.

In each tweet in the thread, you can add images, GIFs, polls, and any other kind of things provided by the Twitter app. Once all the desired tweets have been added to the thread, all you have to do is tap the Tweet button to continue publishing the entire thread.

This is how you can create GIFs from the iOS operating system on Twitter

The Twitter app fora href="https://www.infobae.com/tag/ios/" rel="noopener noreferrer" iOS wants to make it easier for people to share their own GIFs. The latest version of the app now allows you to animate with your camera without having to leave the social network. Undoubtedly, loyal users are faced with an add-on that is not revolutionary, but it is presented as very useful.

It should be remembered that GIFs have become a very popular reaction method on Twitter. They can be used both in our tweets, in replies or when citing third-party posts. In fact, the platform allows you to choose animations from a large catalog, but it wants to go a little further.

Twitter knows that in many cases there will be no better way for people to express themselves than through their own GIFs, and that is why it has decided to integrate the option of creating them on iOS. And best of all, it's a very simple process.

The way to create a GIF on Twitter

As published through Twitter Support, to animate you simply have to tap the camera icon and access the GIF option, which is displayed next to traditional video capture and recording.

Once created, the user can preview it to verify that the final result is the desired one; if so, it can be inserted directly into the tweet or reply. Otherwise and if you are not convinced with the final version, it can be done again.
