The Revocation of Mandate has sparked controversy between relatives and opponents of the self-described Fourth Transformation (Q4), especially as a result of the “lack of dissemination” which the same president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), has reproached.

Thus, in an effort to disseminate the importance of this democratic exercise, a song of the rap genre was made viral on social networks, urging citizens to participate in the consultation on April 10.

The video clip was initially published by the journalist, Azul Alzaga, who was part of the creation of the piece in which artists such as rapper Danger AK; singer, Regina Orozco; composer David Aguilar, among others, also participated.

“We think this #10DeAbril, #TodosALaCalle, because #ElPuebloPoneElPuebloQuita... This tool is yours. In my case I will use it so that #QueSigaAMLO”, he shared on his official Twitter account.

As a result, several supporters of the Morenist Government shared the song, while expressing their desire to go to the polls, including the ardent defender of Q4, Epigmenius Ibarra.

In his call, the Mexican producer reaffirmed his support for the consultation promoted by López Obrador; this, evoking the journalist, Guillermo Prieto: “Revolution that sings triumphs. Democracy that votes is consolidated, people who exercise their rights triumph”, he recalled in a tweet, followed by an invitation to spread the musical.

In this way, several of his followers retweeted rap, mostly accompanied by the hashtags #QueSigaAmlo and #VotaEste10DeAbril. Although there were also those who only expressed themselves with phrases such as: “Let's support the 4T”, “Everyone to the street”, “Let's vote”, “Everyone to participate”, among others.

However, and on the other side of the coin, there were also people who criticized the song for promoting the exercise of which they disagree or categorize it as “useless” or “badly organized”.

“Ridiculous”, “AMLO will continue regardless of the result”, “He already convinced me not to vote”, “If I don't vote also follows”, were some of the comments that, likewise, hinted at his absence for next April 10.

On the other hand, although not prevalent, there were also twitterers who pointed out an inconsistency in the treatment of this exercise that the campaign of March 22 had, where celebrities and activists called for the cessation of construction of Section 5 of the Maya Train.

“Is the artists' request to stop the construction of the section of the Mayan train campaign and that is why Morena denounced them to INE, instead this is free expression?” , questioned one of the users.

It should be recalled that that movement was rejected by López Obrador when he called those who participated in it “pseudo-environmentalists”. Meanwhile, Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena) filed a complaint with the National Electoral Institute (INE) against the campaign, considering it as a violation of the electoral ban.

However, the electoral body dismissed the appeal because those involved, including, to name a few, Eugenio Derbez, Natalia Lafourcade, Bárbara Mori and Omar Chaparro - did not violate the electoral rule because they were not civil servants.
