The famous Colombian musician who has “no idea” about Karol G.

In a social media interview, the vocalist of 'Bacilos' surprised his fans with the answer he gave about his colleague and compatriot

Jorge Villamizar is a famous Colombian musician, known for being the leader and vocalist of the band Bacilos, with which he produced hits such as 'Mi primermillón', 'Caraluna' and 'Tabaco y Chanel'.

However, far from his work in music, the 51-year-old monterian amazed his followers with an interview he gave to a young content creator, who calls himself 'Camilo Soka'.

It turns out that in this conversation, entitled 'questions with flow', Villamizar was encouraged to talk about musical tastes and let it be known that his favorite rock band is Van Halen, among other things, because it served as an inspiration to create his own group and songs.

Likewise, he said that Canadian novelist and singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen was in charge of giving a concert that, in his opinion, is the best he has ever attended.

The surprise came when they asked the leader of Bacilos about his favorite songs by Karol G, as he assured that he has “no idea” the music that his colleague and compatriot, who is nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards, makes.

Contrary to what many people came to think when they heard Jorge Villamizar's answer, it is key to mention that he is not unaware of the career of 'La Bichota' because it is an exponent of the urban genre, but because it may not be to his liking.

And it is that about Bad Bunny and Paulo Londra he was very well dated:

In addition, when asked about Morat, a Bogota folk-pop band, he was very affectionate, since they are quite close to their group and, as he said, they have given them “a lot of strength”.

Finally, they asked the voice of Bacilos what Shakira's favorite songs were and he admitted that he is not a big fan of his new music, but of the content he did several years ago, when he published 'Barefoot. '

It is key to remember that Bacilos emerged in 1997, but ten years later its members decided to take different paths to show themselves in the market as soloists. However, in 2017 the band took a break again when they reunited and presented their new album with Sony Music Latin.

Since then, they have released two studio albums ('Where are we staying? ' and 'Abecedario') and an EP entitled 'Cupid and Company'. While by 2022 they hope to release new songs such as 'Toco madera', which will be released in the last week of April.

Contrary to Bacilos, the antioquian reggaetonera has been recognized with Latin Grammys, Lo Nuestro and Billboard, a firm that a few days ago awarded her the 'Break the Rules' award, granted to those artists who defy expectations with their music and who, in past editions, took artists such as Demi Lovato and Alessia Cara.

In addition, with her musical collaboration with Nicky Minaj ('Tusa'), the Colombian managed to dethrone Michael Jackson's' Thriller 'as the third most awarded song in the history of music worldwide and became, in turn, the most recognized Latin song.
