Several search groups from different states participated in the location of a new drug grave containing human remains in the municipality of Tlajomulco, in Jalisco, where at least 20 bags containing bodies of people presumed to have been killed were found.

The search groups made the discovery as part of a day of the National Brigade, which moved to a home located on Cerro Largo street in the Chulavista neighborhood of Tlajomulco.

Inside the farm, relatives of missing persons, friends and volunteers managed to locate the human remains inside bags in a pit located in the yard of the home.

Similar to the previous findings made at the beginning of the year, search groups in Michoacán, Sonora, Mexico City and Jalisco received anonymous reports about the location of bodies of disappeared persons, so they moved to the site in the company of state authorities, who conducted the removal of the remains.

Other search groups also managed to find human remains in the La Micaelite colony of Tlaquepaque, in which skeletons were found inside a home of the entity; which are presumed to belong to the young Karey Franco.

Thanks to reports that alerted the alleged whereabouts of the woman who disappeared since 2020, mothers and young seekers placed the human remains in the courtyard of a house. The young woman was abducted by three men from her home in El Salto, who identified themselves as agents of the Public Prosecutor's Office and subsequently removed her from her home.

Karey's mother, Blanca Gutiérrez, informed local media that the day of search in which the human skeletons were found was carried out without the accompaniment of the authorities, so they alerted staff of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Jalisco to the event.

After receiving the alert from the search collective, personnel from the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor for Missing Persons went to the scene and continued excavations on the site, as the activists suspended work to rescue the remains because they do not have the authorization to handle them.

Also in Jalisco, the local prosecutor's office announced the start of search work to find the whereabouts of a Canadian citizen, who disappeared four years ago in Puerto Vallarta.

The agency announced the beginning of the search through its social networks, as they published a video informed about the integration of the investigation folder for the case. Personnel from the Prosecutor's Office, Sedena, Semar, National Guard, Municipal Police and the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences will participate in the search.

The search will be carried out at five points of interest where test data were obtained and for this work we have the support of two trained canines from the Canine Group of the Ministry of Public Security.

The foreign national disappeared in the Port since October 28, 2018. The Canadian, Malcom Madsen, was last seen in a bar in the Romantic Zone of Puerto with his Mexican partner, identified as Marcela A., after that nothing was known about his whereabouts.

The Jalisco prosecutor's office reported that three people are already in detention for the case, who were linked to the trial and questioned about the disappearance of the man, who was last seen alive in 2019 inside the bar in the entity.
