Man who stabbed a 16-year-old girl for refusing to have sex with him

A criminal judge from the Caldas Circuit (Antioquia) sentenced Dorian Arley Ortiz Acevedo, alias' Toro ', to 18 years and 8 months in prison, who was allegedly responsible for attempting the life of a 16-year-old girl.

According to the report of the Attorney General's Office, the case occurred on November 21, 2021 in the Andalusia neighborhood of the aforementioned municipality. The defendant reportedly attacked the minor with a sharp weapon because she refused to have sexual relations with him.

The victim was attacked with a dagger on multiple occasions, particularly in the chest area, causing her to lose consciousness due to blood loss. According to the investigation, the aggressor, believing that she had died, threw her into a hole; however, hours later, the young woman regained consciousness and managed to get out, managing to ask for help to save her life.

The members of the sector answered the girl's calls and were able to refer her to a hospital center.

Ortiz Acevedo must serve the sentence in the detention center determined by the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute (Inpec) for the crimes of attempted aggravated homicide and violent sexual acts.

This Friday, April 1, authorities reported on the capture of three people who would be involved in the triple homicide that occurred in the afternoon of February 5. On that day, alleged members of the FARC's Armed Residual Organized Group (GAOR) 36 broke into a farm in the San Alejandro village, in the municipality of Angostura, northern Antioquia, attacking members of the same family with firearms.

The victims were identified as Lubin de Jesús and Rubén Alcides Pérez Rojas, brothers 24 and 28 years old, respectively, as well as a child under 16 years of age.

The three defendants, Roberto Enrique Hernández Murillo and brothers Jesús and Yojan Atehortua Pérez, were arrested on Saturday, March 26 in a joint operation carried out by Sijin Police servers and National Army troops. In the action, two 38-caliber revolvers, two shotguns, a bulletproof vest and ammunition for short- and long-range weaponry were seized.

The alleged persons involved are charged with aggravated homicide in homogeneous and successive competition; and illegal carrying of firearms of personal defense.

In recent days, the Government held a security council in this town in view of the increase in homicide figures. In the first three months of the year they have reported 16 violent deaths, seven more compared to the same period in 2021.

“Our government is a government that always has at its center care, defense, protection, respect for life. We will continue to work tirelessly to fulfill that purpose in our department, every violent death hurts us, every violent death is a tragedy for Antioquia, that is why that main purpose,” said the Human Security Seres of Antioquia, Luis Fernando Suárez.

After analyzing the situation, commitments were agreed to improve those indicators. Firstly, the operational deployment of the security forces in this municipality will be maintained. In addition, joint operations will be carried out between the National Police and the National Army, with special emphasis on controlling the entire axis of the Magdalena River.

Likewise, the Government announced that all judicial intelligence and investigation actions will be maintained and strengthened, aimed at identifying the members of the criminal structures that are present in this municipality.
