Belinda spoke about her character in Welcome to Eden: “You don't know if it's good or bad”

Over the past few days, Belinda has made an appearance in Spain to begin the promotion of the upcoming series Bienvenidos a Eden, a new Netflix project that the actress and singer already recorded in 2021 and which is expected to debut on May 6.

In the production, the performer of In love is to be forgiven gives life to one of the main characters: “Africa”, about which she narrated details of her personality. At a press conference to present the project, the artist thanked her for her participation.

“Very happy, grateful for the opportunity, delighted with all my colleagues, I have learned too much. Difficult moments, with a lot of learning and I am looking forward to the premiere”, he said before delving into his character.

“She loves the party because she feels very safe in that environment, that's like her mask in front of people,” she said.

The singer, who has already announced that she will be settling in Spain for a while to give continuity to her career, said that her character might seem like a superficial woman, but she doesn't want to see her feelings involved.

In addition, Belinda said that with “Africa” you always “have to think well when you talk to her because you can't read it easily, she tells you one thing, but in reality it's another, you don't know if she's good, if she's bad, she's a girl you have to discover little by little”.

Christian Nodal's ex-girlfriend also revealed what part of her own personality she imprinted on the character: “I am very transparent and with Africa I have to create like those layers; it shows in me when I'm angry and in Africa I don't, she stays quiet and you don't know what she's going to do,” she said.

Finally, the famous woman spoke of the song she recorded for the series: “That song was born just a week before she traveled to Spain. I was getting to know each of the chapters and it was something that came to me; when I write a song the melody comes, that perfect and literal moment in the shower I started singing, with the phone I started recording”.

During the media promotion of Bienvenidos a Edén in Spain, a detail caught the attention of fans of the 32-year-old singer, because as seen in a video, captured on the media tour, Belinda would have already had the initials “CN” removed from her tattooed.

Belinda had tattooed a heart on her ankle years ago, and she had made a promise to put the initials “of the love of her life” inside it, as she confessed to journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante in an interview.

In the midst of a relationship with Nodal, Belinda fulfilled her promise and got 'CN' tattooed, initials of her then boyfriend inside the heart figure she already had. And everything seems to indicate that the singer does not want to keep any memory in her body of the relationship she had with the successful singer 10 years her junior, because at one of her promotional events for the series, the model also appeared wearing shoes that exposed her ankles, in which according to her fans, you can no longer read the initials' CN 'of her ex-boyfriend.

In the video where Belinda is seen very happy in the company of her dog, you can see the heart tattoo, but not Nodal's initials. Although it is not known for certain whether the singer modified her tattoo or covered the lyrics with makeup, the images went viral and were an indication that the singer “already turned the page” and closed the chapter of her romance with Christian.
