2022 elections: this is how the campaigns began in Aguascalientes, Durango and Hidalgo

Between complaints to the INE, discredities and the Revocation of Mandate, political parties began their journey to get electors' votes

At 00:00 hours this Sunday, April 3, political campaigns began in Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas, entities that will renew the local Executive Power in the elections of next June 5.

In the hydrowarm state, more than 11 million inhabitants will go out to elect the new person who will govern for six years; however, these elections are seen as historical because it is the first time that only profiles of women have been presented.

- Martha Márquez will represent the Trabajando Verde coalition - made up of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) and the Labour Party (PT) - held a press conference accompanied by local party leaders, which was broadcast solely on her Facebook account.

- Tere Jiménez, candidate for the Coalition Va por Aguascalientes - made up of the National Action Party (PAN), the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) -: her campaign began with an event that she offered from the Plaza de la Patria for the militants of the parties that represents; which was broadcast on its official social networks.

- Anayeli Muñoz Moreno is the representative of Movimiento Ciudadano (MC) and has not held any campaign events so far, she only shared on all her social networks that the new election process began this year.

- Nora Ruvalcaba Gámez, candidate of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), started her campaign in the state capital and was accompanied by Mario Delgado, national leader of the party; Claudia Sheinbaum, head of government of the CDMX; David Monreal, governor of Zacatecas; and some other Morenist personalities.

In Durango, like five other states of the republic, it will hold local elections, in which will be renewed, who managed to obtain the majority of the votes will take office for the next six years.

- Esteban Villegas Villareal, representative of the Va por Durango coalition -PRI, PAN and PRD-, began his campaign at a rally organized by the institutes that represent him, where the presence of Alejandro Alito Moreno, national leader of the Institutional Revolutionary, as well as former governor Ismael Hernández Deras, stood out.

- Marina Vitela, standard-bearer of the Juntos Hacemos Historia coalition for Durango -Morena, PVEM, PT and Progressive Social Networks (RSP) - held a rally with the local militancy and was accompanied by the state leaders of the cherry party, as well as Antonio Attolini.

- Patricia Flores Elizondo, MC candidate, was interrupted her start of the campaign in the capital of Durango because an LED screen fell to the ground and, during her way to impact, caused damage to a score of people, two of whom were taken to hospital, moments where she later went to check that everything was well.

In this entity, the government will only be renewed for the next six years; however, it could set a benchmark in local history because it is one of the last places in the country that only have been governed by the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

- Carolina Viggiano Austria, candidate of the Va por Hidalgo coalition -PRI, PAN and PRD-, started her campaign at midnight in Tula, Hidalgo, in an event with the militancy of the three parties she represents, in which she was accompanied by the PRD national leader, Jesús Zambrano.

- Jesús Menchaca Salazar, candidate of the Juntos Hacemos Historia por Hidalgo coalition -Morena, PT and Nueva Alianza-, who began his proselytism in the central square of the Huejutla de Reyes municipality at 11:00 this Sunday, a place remembered for being where Luis Donaldo Colosio began his presidential campaign.

- José Luis Lima Morales, PVEM candidate, began his campaign with a rally at the Alfajayucan Sports Unit, where he was accompanied by the local authorities of his institute.

- Francisco Xavier Berganza, representative of MC, held a small event in Plaza Juárez de Pachuca, where he was accompanied by staff from his campaign team, media and mariachis who enlivened the event.
