This Friday, the draw for the Qatar 2022 World Cup was held and the players of all the selected players who will compete in the contest were aware of what was happening in Doha. One of them was Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, who joined his family in England to follow the broadcast of the event. The video of his reaction went viral.

It was his partner, Mandhina Martínez, who published the recording that shows the moment when Mexico is randomly chosen as the rival of the albiceleste team in Group C. There you can see how Dibu celebrates crazy when he sees that the Tata Martino team was the one who fell in the area, coming from Pot 2, where there were possible rivals like Germany.

“Easy, easy” (easy, easy) you can hear someone shouting there while the Aston Villa goalkeeper jumped with his cell phone in his hand, a celebration that was imitated by his son, who with his hands up accompanied his father's gestures. It is clear that Mexico is one of the opponents that, at least Martinez, preferred. The other rivals will be Poland, on the last date, and Saudi Arabia, in the debut.

“We talked about it after the draw with the boys. Everyone is happy with the group, it's nice to think about what's coming. As in all tournaments, we are going to go game by game,” he declared shortly after on a Twitch with the Olé site. “I lived it with anxiety, it's my first World Cup. It's a fucked-up, cute group, but we got off to a good start with Saudi Arabia. I don't remember seeing Arabia, so maybe I look at some now to see how they move. I saw Poland the other day and as for Mexico, maybe we can play some friendly with them earlier.”

Despite his striking celebration, Dibu was cautious in his statements and avoided the controversy: “It is difficult to choose who to play with, once the World Cup starts some raise in the group stage. In a World Cup you have to beat everyone, we have to win our group.”

The Argentine team will start their dream against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, November 22, then on Saturday they will face Mexico and finally clash with Poland on Wednesday 30. If they finish first, they will be measured in the second round of Group D, where they are France, Denmark, Tunisia and the winner of the playoff between Conmebol (Peru) and the Asian Confederation (Australia or the Arab Emirates). In case of finishing second, he will face the best in the same area.
