said the minister.

He added that they have blocked more than 100 websites, from the cyber center of the National Police, which were considered “cyber pots”, which distribute synthetic drugs through social networks.

However, an article published by El Heraldo points out that the method of “false bellies” is very popular in the Atlantic, since several cases have been reported where this form is used to transport drugs.

For example, at the end of last year, the police carried out an operation in the jurisdiction of the municipality of Palmar de Varela, Atlántico, where they stopped an interdepartmental bus to carry out the routine search of passengers. There, they captured a woman who pretended to be pregnant. When she was caught, she decided to deliver 1,655 grams of narcotic drugs that were taped to her abdomen.

The strategy announced by the national government is deployed throughout the country; therefore, daily the National Police and its various institutions report operations and arrests, to individuals or organizations linked to drug trafficking.
