The general coordinator of the passport office of the Government of Santander, Jessica Moreno, filed a written complaint to the Departmental Assembly on an alleged harassment to which she would be subjected by Deputy Ferley Sierra Jaimes.

According to Moreno, Sierra would be making allegations against her, which would have led to actions such as taking and publishing photographs of her and her family without her permission, subjecting them to public derision.

In addition, the coordinator of this Bucaramanga office pointed out that Ferney Sierra, known as El Profe, made a live broadcast from her Facebook channel, “where she made all kinds of allegations of ill-treatment and threats against my humanity and of the officials and contractors at the service of the passport office.”

As if that were not enough, the deputy closed the broadcast with what could be considered a threat: that, if the situation he denounces were not resolved, he would make the following Facebook Live from Moreno's residence site. In the audio it is heard that the official responds that she has a young son, to which Sierra ignores.

In her letter, the official stated that she feels “persecuted, violated, abused, violated as a woman, daughter, wife, professional”. He also indicated that Ferley Sierra would be overstepping his duties as a deputy and that harassment was affecting his health:

For his part, Congressman Ferley Sierra did not retract his words to the coordinator of the passport office. On Friday afternoon he posted a video through his Twitter account, in which he explained the context of his words.

According to him, on April 1, a session of political control took place in the Assembly against the office headed by Moreno, for an alleged case of corruption in the assignment of passport appointments.

According to the complainants, virtual appointments to obtain a passport end in a matter of minutes if you follow the regular procedure: go to the website and request it when they open an agenda. However, they point out the existence of brokers who would be hoarding these citations to resell them for sums up to 250,000 pesos.

The deputy assured that the Government and the media viralized only a fragment of what he said, so that it is out of context. In any case, she argued in her words: “that lady is a public servant and we public servants are there to serve the public and we are exposed to public derision to be constantly accountable to them”.

In addition, in a triune he assured that he will release more information about Jessica Moreno and accused her of being related to the Aguilar clan, one of the strongest and most controversial political families in Santander.
