The date for the opening match is approaching and the temperature does not stop rising. In the run up to the Qatar 2022 World Cup draw, FIFA officially presented the official song of the tournament, which features a small participation by Diego Armando Maradona.

Hayya Hayya (Better Together), or “Better Together” in Spanish, is the name chosen for the music that will be played throughout the World Cup, a competition that will be held for the first time at the end of the year: from November 21 to December 18. It is a collaboration between Trinidad Cardona, Davido and Aisha.

“This song, which brings together voices from across the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, symbolizes how music and football can bring the world together,” said Kay Madati, FIFA's chief commercial officer. “As part of FIFA's new musical strategy, the soundtrack will include several tracks that will immerse fans in the atmosphere of the World Cup like never before. The single with R&B and reggae influences ideally sets the pace for a football party like the one we will experience at the end of the year,” they explained from the the body responsible for regulating football by means of a statement.
