Laura Bozzo has had a successful career on television for the past few decades. However, she had to leave the program she was conducting due to fiscal problems in Mexico, as she spent several months in hiding to avoid going to jail.
Once she managed to solve her legal problems, the popular 'Lawyer of the Poor' dedicated herself to planning her return to the small screen and this March 31 announced that she would do so through of the Imagen Televisión signal.
“I'm excited, I'm happy. It's been many years of pain, suffering and for me this program is my life, it's my husband, it's my daughters, it's everything for me, being able to help, changing people's lives,” he said.
She stressed that her new program will bring help to the most needy families, ironically stating that it is the only thing she knows how to do after confessing that her accountants cheated her. “The only thing I am good for because I am more brute than I have to do for everything else. I trust everyone, I sign powers, I do not serve anything, I serve to help everyone, but for me I am denied”, added the presenter.
WHAT TELEVISION PROGRAMS DID YOU HAVE IN PERU?
Laura Bozzo had more than one television program during her time in Peru. In the late 90s, the host began her journey in the talk show programs with Intimidades (1997), which was broadcast on Panamericana Televisión. Here, different social problems were made known, such as family violence, adultery, alcoholism and drug addiction.
Due to its success, in 1998, América Televisión decided to bring it to its ranks with a program that would bear its name and also the television channel, which is why Laura was released in America.
This talk show had such an audience in Peru that it began to be broadcast in different countries of Latin America, such as Mexico. However, in 2001, with Alberto Fujimori's departure from the government, Laura received house arrest and her program was canceled.

The following years Laura Bozzo continued to record social programs for foreign channels, but in 2007 Panamericana Televisión offered her to return to Peruvian television, a project that was ultimately not carried out due to the differences she had with Genaro Delgado Parker due to the non-payment of her employees.
Finally, the 'Lawyer of the Poor' reached an agreement with ATV and for a short time aired a program entitled Laura en Acción, which was removed from Peruvian television because of the complaints they made against her when they learned that actors were being paid to participate.
After leaving the air, Laura Bozzo decided to go to Mexico in 2009, where she started again with her talk shows and stayed there. Now she will be back with a new program and she feels very excited.
