Rush Hour was a comic series broadcast on the then Channel of Stars between 2002 and 2007, the humor of the quirky and unmistakable characters marked many hours of fun for viewers. Twenty years after its premiere, some of its protagonists took different paths.
On the one hand, Reynaldo Rossano - who gave life to El Nacolás - continued with the comedy and also ventured into the conductor of Hoy, the morning on Televisa. In 2021 he worked on the production Tic Tac Toc: The Reencounter, a comedy that tells about the life of the famous children's group of the same name that tries to revive in the art world after being sheltered from cameras for 35 years.
Although actor Adrián Uribe has repeatedly admitted that El Vitor, the trucker parody “stayed in the hearts of the people”, he seeks to continue his idea of never stagnating and began to do different activities in his professional career.
“I've always advocated being authentic, I don't know how much I've contributed to comedy, but I know I've contributed characters that have stayed in people's hearts (...), my career is at an interesting time where I'll do other things too,” he said to EFE.
After losing his exclusivity with Televisa, Adrián Uribe focused on developing a together with Omar Chaparro and Adal Ramones, the three comedians founded the company Sold Out, in which all kinds of content will be created, including shows live.
Although Lorena de la Garza and Consuelo Duval played Nacasia and Nacaranda, a pair of best friends in phosphorescent dress, were away until May 2021, it should be noted that both comedians followed the course of the performance, Duval is the host of Netas Divinas.
The lucky meeting took place in a musical titled Ghost, the shadow of love, which was directed by Silvia Montesinos and Jaime Matarredona. At the presentation on Saturday, May 30, actress Consuelo Duval came as a godmother of luxury for the nearly 100 performances at the Teatro San Rafael; as Lorena de la Garza was part of the cast, both had the opportunity to open up about their conflicts.
In one of her temporary Instagram stories, Consuelo Duval posted a picture of the stage when the talents were thanking the public and wrote “You're amazing mamatita! To all the cast of this wonderful production, my respect and admiration”.
Later Lorena de la Garza replicated this story in her profile and replied “Thank you for your support and affection, beautiful”, showing that all conflicts of the past had already been overcome.
“Our fight was because of my bullsh*s but hey she has such a big heart that she forgave me,” Duval explained as she recalled her differences with De la Garza. “She forgave me as sisters forgive, as friends forgive and I love her, I admire her, and she is my Nacasia.” , continued the actress.
The conflict between the two arose when Consuelo left Televisa and declared that there were people in the company who spoke badly about her; at the time she also revealed that Lorena de la Garza called her to apologize for what she had said, however this actress rejected the version:
“I think Televisa is not a company that has errors. There are mistakes with actors who feel like divos and lose the floor. I always played on his team, I was on his side, I was his friend. I brag about being a good co-worker and with her in particular I brag about the very good relationship I had with her,” Lorena explained in an interview with Ventaneando in May 2015.
Days later Consuelo stopped the war of statements with Lorena and apologized. “I didn't mean to hurt anyone. Everything was misunderstood, I made a mistake and I apologize,” Consuelo told the radio program Todo para la Mujer.
According to Consuelo, she admitted that she should never reveal names, so she regretted that her partner and friend had received a distorted version of what she said and that is why she “went to the jugular”.
