Weather in Mexico for March 31: temperatures higher than 40ºC are estimated by heat wave

A heat wave will cause a hot to very hot evening environment in most parts of the territory, mainly in the eastern and southern regions. In the north and northeast, the presence of the 39th cold front in interaction with the subtropical jet stream will generate strong gusts of wind with hoppers, according to the National Weather System.

Mexico will record minimum temperatures of up to -5º C in mountainous areas of Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas and the State of Mexico, and up to -0°C in Baja California, Sinaloa, Jalisco, Michoacán, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Puebla and Tlaxcala. In contrast, the highs will go up to 45º C in Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Durango, San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo, Morelos, Puebla, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tamaulipas, Tabasco, Campeche and Yucatan

CDMX and Valle de México: Fresh morning atmosphere. Cold temperatures (0° to 5°C) in the morning in high areas of southwestern Mexico City and very cold (-5° to 0°C) with frosts at dawn in high areas of the State of Mexico. Clear to partly cloudy skies during the day, with no rain in Mexico City and the State of Mexico. In the afternoon, warm atmosphere. Hot afternoon temperatures (35° to 40°C) in the southwestern part of the State of Mexico.

In Mexico City, a minimum temperature of 13 to 15° C and a maximum of 30 to 32° C. For the capital of the State of Mexico, a minimum temperature of 2 to 4° C and a maximum of 26 to 28° C.

Baja California Peninsula: Partly cloudy sky, no rain. Cool morning atmosphere. Cold temperatures (0° to 5°C) in high areas, to very cold (-5 to 0°C) with frosts at dawn over northern Baja California mountains. Warm evening atmosphere. Hot temperatures (35° to 40°C) in areas of Baja California Sur.

North Pacific: Clear sky in the morning and partly cloudy in the afternoon, with no rain. Cool morning atmosphere. Cold temperatures (0° to 5°C) in high areas of Sinaloa, to very cold (-5 to 0°C) with frosts at dawn in the mountains of Sonora. In the afternoon, warm to warm atmosphere.

Central Pacific: Clear sky and no rain. Cool morning atmosphere. Cold temperatures (0° to 5°C) in high areas, with a probability of frost at dawn over northern Jalisco mountains. In the afternoon, warm atmosphere. Hot afternoon temperatures (from 35° to 40° C) in areas of Jalisco and Michoacán.

South Pacific: Partly cloudy sky with isolated rains in Oaxaca and Chiapas; no rain in Guerrero. Cool atmosphere in the morning and warm in the afternoon. Very hot afternoon temperatures (40° to 45°C) in areas of Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas.

Gulf of Mexico: Clear skies in the morning and increased cloudiness in the afternoon, with isolated rains in Veracruz (north) and Tamaulipas. Cool to mild environment in the morning. In the afternoon warm atmosphere. Very hot temperatures (40° to 45°C) in areas of Tamaulipas and Tabasco.

Yucatan Peninsula: Partly cloudy sky most of the day with isolated rains in the afternoon. Temperate morning atmosphere. In the afternoon, warm atmosphere. Very hot afternoon temperatures (40° to 45°C) in areas of Campeche and Yucatan.

Mesa del Norte: Clear sky, no rain. Cold morning atmosphere. Very cold temperatures (-5 to 0°C) with frosts at dawn in areas of Chihuahua, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas and Durango. In the afternoon, warm atmosphere. Very hot afternoon temperatures (40° to 45°C) in areas of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Durango and San Luis Potosí.

Central Table: Clear sky in the morning, with increasing cloudy weather in the afternoon. No rain in the region. Cool to cold morning atmosphere. In the afternoon warm to warm atmosphere. Very hot afternoon temperatures (40° to 45°C) in areas of Hidalgo, Morelos and Puebla.
