The United States sanctioned a number of Russian technology companies, including the country's largest chip maker, on Thursday in the latest economic punishment for Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
The US Treasury said the sanctions are “part of its offensive against the Kremlin's sanctions evasion networks and technology companies, which are central to the war machine of the Russian Federation.”
The measure targets 21 entities and 13 individuals in the sector.
