Residente used his social networks to celebrate the success of the 'tiradera' (a burlesque theme) where he lashed out at his colleague J Balvin in the 49th BZRP Sessions that he held alongside Bizarrap. Since launching on YouTube, the Puerto Rican singer has become a trend.
Let's remember that their clashes began in 2021 when the Colombian artist asked several artists not to attend the Latin Grammys 2021, since he considered that the urban genre was not being valued. After that, Residente questioned the interpreter of “Mi gente” and continued to criticize him later.
Everything seems to indicate that the media battle between international artists has not ceased to be heard between musical platforms, as their new song has managed to reach number one in the Spotify ranking released on March 7.
This did not go unnoticed by the former member of Calle 13, since through the stories on his official Instagram account he shared with his more than 8 million followers the Spotify post, adding the reason why he created the song.
“I just did it for fun, but thank you,” he wrote about the image next to the emoji of a glass of beer. It should be noted that the song is divided into three parts. The first, Rene takes an X-ray of the urban genre and releases verses against those who use Auto-Tune and 'play-back' to improve their voices
In the second part, he compares the creations of his colleagues with hot dogs and later, he dedicates himself to specifically attacking J Balvin referring to the controversies he has starred in recent months. He even describes him as “racist” and “liar”.
